The film, only 100 minutes long, opens to a scene with Morgan Freeman’s wise-crack character, Vitruvius - his voice caused many women’s ovaries to explode in the first five minutes of this film, a usual reaction to Morgan Freeman’s voice… (I think). Next we are introduced to Emmet, an average, “keep to the rules”, and unimaginative kind of character, voiced by Chris Pratt. Shortly thrown into all kinds of crazy, exciting and in most cases, hilarious situations he embarks on a wild quest to save the world from the evil Lord Business, voiced by Will Ferrell...

The Lego Movie is due to arrive in UK cinemas on 14th February 2014.
